Tradesmen Electric Inc. is looking to add an awesome Driver to our Team! We are a well established electrical contractor located in Battle Ground, WA. JOB DESCRIPTION: • 7:00AM start time at the Battle Ground Shop, Check in with Warehouse Manager • Warehouse manager will get you set up with a delivery schedule for the day (Can be done day before hand if you have a early delivery) • Inspect the delivery vehicle before you head out (make sure your ride is dialed before you get on the road) • Start your delivery Unload/Load material at each location • End of day return to shop, fuel your truck on the way back so its ready for the next day • Unload any material at the shop that was a return or from a vendor • Fill daily log when entering your time card for the day RESPONSIBILITIES: • Deliver Material to and from Job(s) Job locations range from Portland Metro area up to Seattle Metro area • Check merchandise in against receiving ticket • Load and unload deliveries by hand, with use of a hand truck or a fork lift • Prepare proper paperwork for shipments, return tickets, warranty materials, damages or incorrect receiving • Customer service with outside agencies • Keep complete records as requested • Inspect vehicles and equipment before use and follow DOT regulations and safety standards • Drive safely and be respectful QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus) • Drivers will be required to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations • Current medical certification card or ability to obtain a card • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to use technology as appropriate • Ability to use forklift and other equipment as necessary • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs • Applicant must be able to pass a drug test, background and driving check COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: • Competitive compensation • Medical, dental and 401K • PTO and Holidays • Employee training • We typically have some fun activities we do each year such as rafting, snowmobiling, Company Christmas, Company Picnic, Salmon fishing
