Description
I am helping my dad with some renovations at his strip building located on Norwich street. He is retired, advanced aged and has health issues, so he's limited on funds. Since he cannot afford to hire someone outright, I am exploring whether I can do some of the work for him.
I am looking for an electrician who can pull a power-on permit with the city and who is willing to oversee the work, providing some instruction on certain parts. The building is a concrete block strip building, and I will be redoing all of the electrical in each unit 1 or 2 at a time. I have completely demo'd the first unit. All of the old electrical has been removed and trashed. The ceilings have been torn out and everything is opened up ready for new wiring. The walls are masonry, so wires will need to run through conduit.
To start off with, I want help putting together a general layout plan and materials list. I would like help deciding the placement of the new panel and guidance on routing wires and conduit. Finally, I need someone to inspect the completed work and call for a power-on inspection with the city. Then, repeat with the next unit until all are done.
I do not have extensive experience; however, I do have experience with running wires, wiring into the panel, plugs, switches, fixtures, etc.
If this sounds like something you are willing to help me with, please reply and provide your number. Ask any questions you may have and be prepared to discuss pricing and payment. I can provide pictures, measurements and can meet you at the property.
Thank you
