Welcome the cooler fall temperatures and enjoy one of Portland's signature trails with WRISE! We will be meeting at the Lower Macleay Trailhead in NW, setting off on a short hike that features the "Witch's Castle," a small stone building constructed in 1929. The "castle" is about 3/4mi from the starting point - participants can walk as far as they are comfortable, including past the structure. Meeting place: Lower Macleay Park Meeting time: 5pm. We will leave the trailhead around 5:10pm to give folks extra time to gather. ___________________________________ The safety of event attendees is always of utmost importance; these are the WRISE COVID-19 Protocols for this event. 1.WRISE PDX Chapter’s coronavirus protocols align with those of the Oregon region and the local jurisdiction where the event will occur. 2. We ask that you not attend this event if you have tested positive for COVID-19 and have not been medically cleared, been recently exposed to somebody with COVID-19, or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. 3. We will encourage ongoing health and safety measures at the event. 4. The event location is outdoors, covered and spacious to allow space for those who desire to be 6 feet apart from others. 5. A COVID-19 waiver is required from all attendees (will be completed during registration). 6.
