Join Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for a spooky river cleanup as we launch for canoe/kayaks at Lowry Park Boat Ramp. The cleanup is part of Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful’s Trash Free Waters Program and serves as a call to action to create more sustainable communities by focusing volunteer efforts on activities that impact individuals in need, lead to aesthetic community improvements, and provide a positive environmental impact. Litter on roadways, in parks, rivers, and neighborhoods negatively affects the environment, and isn’t something residents or visitors want to see in their community. Date: Saturday October 15, 2022 Check-in: 8:30am Cleanup Time: 9:00am-11:00am Where: Lowry Park Boat Ramp- 1204 W Flora St, Tampa, FL 33604 What To Bring : • Kayak/Canoe Small net (if possible) • Work or garden gloves • Sunscreen • Hat/Sunglasses • Protective footwear (close-toed) **Trash bags, water and soft gloves are provided.
