Youth development professionals know the importance of creating exceptional program experiences for young people - and that these high-quality experiences enrich young people's lives. The quality of the youth experience is made up of two key elements: Organizational Quality and Program Quality. Grantees in year one will focus on continuous quality improvement at the organizational level and setting organizational improvement goals to achieve and sustain the best practices that will enable, fuel, and sustain the program quality practices that support the development and growth of young people. During this training, participants will learn: How to utilize the Organizational Quality Assessment tool;How to create a shared language for practice and decision making; andHow to use the tool to self-assess their organizational level.Each grantee should bring their Program Director and one lead staff member who will be responsible for sharing this information with the rest of their team. Please make sure that each person is registered by Friday, September 16th.
