Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band Holiday ConcertALL AGES Chesapeake Brass BandOfficial Website | Facebook Formed in 1996, the Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band is comprised of amateur and professional musicians from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. Following the brass banding tradition, we are an all-volunteer organization. The band performs a varied repertoire of contemporary and traditional brass band music throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The Chesapeake Brass Band is Delaware's only 35 piece all-brass concert band developed in the tradition of British Brass Bands formed during England's industrial revolution of the late 1800's. Performances feature light classics, marches, big band, swing and blues with a narrative to add humor and educational value to the concert.
