Description

Swing Set is a small vocal jazz ensemble singing four and six-part harmonies, by the likes of The Real Group, Manhattan Transfer, Les Six, etc. With a fresh, vibrant sound, they sing mostly jazz and other styles, incorporating exciting rhythms, complex harmonies, and scat improvisations in “a capella” and accompanied arrangements. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Erving Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.Swing Set Concert Schedule
