Press release from the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office: January 4, 2021 Today, Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Probate Judge Ralph "Ted" Winkler swore in Joseph T. Deters as Hamilton County Prosecutor. Mr. Deters, who has served 23 years as Hamilton County Prosecutor, is the longest serving prosecutor in Hamilton County history. Prosecutor Deters commented, "I want to sincerely thank the voters of Hamilton County for again placing their trust in me to continue serving as their county prosecutor. That trust is incredibly humbling, knowing the magnitude that this office holds for the safety and well-being of all county residents. I will continue fighting for justice and helping victims of crime and their families – just as I have for 23 years leading the Prosecutor's Office. I want to thank Judge Winkler for swearing me in today and also thank him for the tireless work he does to serve the citizens of Hamilton County."
