September 18-24 is National Banned Books Week 2022! As New Orleans schools face increasing restrictions on what can be read and taught in the classroom, One Book One New Orleans is bringing together a panel of educators for a conversation about whose voices are silenced in the classroom, and why those silences matter. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Seating is limited, so register today!
