This exclusive event of Northeastern University Arlington is open to anyone who would like to learn more about our campus and programs. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 5-7 PM EST at Mission Navy Yard DC. Dinner and drinks will be served. We are honored to have Jamie Jones Miller, as our inaugural Dean and CEO of Northeastern University Arlington in attendance. The Arlington campus is the newest of Northeastern’s twelve global campuses with a launch date of Winter 23 and a focus on the intersection of innovation and security. Jamie’s 16 years of government service include roles as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs (SES III) and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (SES II) where she advised the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense on legislative strategy and managed relationships with members of Congress and key congressional staff, the military departments as well as the White House, National Security Council, and federal departments and agencies in support of DoD priorities. Jamie is a 2018 graduate of National Defense University’s PINNACLE flag and general officer course and was awarded the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service by the Secretary of Defense in 2020 for exceptionally distinguished service of significance to the Department. Along with Jamie, we will have other faculty and staff to network with.
