Have you always wanted a fun, interactive way for your kids to experience a Navratri celebration? Do you or your kids have friends that celebrate Navratri and want to learn more about the holiday? Chicago Picnic Chicks is proud to present our first kid-friendly Navratri celebration, where all are welcome to come dance, learn, socialize, celebrate, and have fun! While Navratri is a big part of Indian culture, the yearly holiday events generally tend to be evening affairs which limit children's exposure to all that it means and has to offer. Chicago Picnic Chicks is hosting this daytime event to not only teach children about what the holiday signifies and means to Indian culture, but as an outlet to celebrate, meet new people, and pass on knowledge and traditions to future generations.
