The 2022 Glendale International Film Festival (GIFF) runs from September 29 - October 6 and features 8 days of screenings and events in 5 locations and more than 100 films shown at the Laemmle Glendale and Glendale Community College. Visit GlendaleIFF.org for full details on the screenings, Opening Night Reception, Closing Night Awards Reception, GIFF Central, and more.
GIFF’s Student Film Competition is a platform for student filmmakers (high school, undergraduate, and graduate) to tell their stories, showcase their talents, and share their creative voice and perspectives on the world they live in. Seventeen student films have been selected to be screened this year. These shorts tackle a wide range of genres and topics, from the pandemic to social issues to the love of family.
The Student Film Competition will take place at the Glendale Community College Auditorium on Saturday, October 1 from 12pm - 5pm. Visit GlendaleIFF.org for the full festival lineup and a synopsis of all the films.
