In a world of racial and political divide, LM4M is proud to host Movement 4 More: A Concert to Build Bridges – a multimedia event that attempts to connect our communities in the face of many obstacles. The event does so through the universal language of music and through student voice. A unique blend of music and storytelling, this event will be headlined by accomplished musicians Dana Masters, and Sultans of String, and will also feature singer Mary Fahl; all artists were specifically chosen for their demonstrated experience in combining music and topics of diversity, equity, inclusion and good spirit!
The goal of the event is to use the power of storytelling to uplift and point us to a more inclusive and positive future, where people from marginalized backgrounds are included and valued for their contributions to society. 100% of the proceeds will go to furthering technology, mathematics and literacy education, which include various cultures’ contributions to the fields. We believe in that cultural relevance and access to education around the globe and at home in disinvested communities within Boston.
