We're hosting three local business owners that took a non-traditional path to entrepreneurship. What does it take to build something meaningful, impactful and profitable as a solopreneur in Soda City? How can you scale up as an owner/operator while avoiding entrepreneurial burnout? We'll explore how these entrepreneurs carved out a life for themselves, faced and overcame challenges on their journeys and some real and practical tips on how to be intentional about finding success in doing what you love. Entrepreneur & Small Business Owner Panel: Preach Jacobs is a two time South Carolina Press Association Award Winner for column writing, founder of Cola-Con, hip-hop artist and DJ contributing to the Columbia arts scene for over 20 years.  Ley Linder is Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, who has picked up a few degrees along the way, with a specialties in behavioral gerontology and the behavioral presentations of neurocognitive disorders in adults with intellectual disabilities. He is the Owner and CEO of Crescent Behavioral Health Services, but knows nothing about business and is confused why he was invited here. Fiona Martin is the founder of FGM Internet Marketing and a competitive triathlete, gardener, dog/chicken/plant mom, fledgling herbalist, and eco-activist. Fiona has been in the digital marketing industry for over a decade and holds a Certificate in Digital Marketing from the IDM. Fiona also serves on the Kershaw County Planning Commission and the Executive Committee of the Columbia, SC Chapter of DSA.
