Description

Having a child that is on the Autism Spectrum can spark a variety of different emotions within parents and caregivers. Unfortunately, the feelings of confusion on what to do next, is far too common. With that said, Spectrum Lingo has put together a live panel discussion with an Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Behavioral Specialist and a parent of a teenager on the Autism Spectrum, to talk about all things Autism. Topics discussed will include: What is Known About the Diagnosis? Is it Sensory or Behavior? Dealing with Feelings of Isolation From Family/Friends. Life Outlook. Food Aversions. Dealing with Communication Difficulties. The goal is to leave family and friends with new tools and tips, so that they can feel empowered. And this begins with conversations with experienced professionals whose passion it is to best serve those on the Autism Spectrum and their families. This is a FREE event, as our goal is to be a resource for those in the greater Atlanta community. Reserve your seats now, as space is limited! Date: Sunday, October 9th 2022 Time: 3PM-6PM Address: Vonza Studio, 11030 Jones Bridge Rd Suite 210, Alpharetta, GA 30022 If you have any additional questions please email us at: [email protected]
