I am a song writer in his 70s interested in musicians to assist me in preparing my song material for creating demos for pitching to publishers in the future. I think this really means that I need to create a band to play in front of audiences and eventually record (and make us some royalty $$). I play guitar and write off of it but I am not a technical player (know some things--don't know some things). Decent singer. I need someone like the viewer of this ad right now, regardless of your demographics. My "catalogue" is generally roots-based: folk rock, blues, blues rock, coffee house, alt country, psych, some funk. My influences run from early Sun Records artists and Chicago blues all the way to Silver Synthetic (my new fave), and others like Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Yard Birds, Old 97s, Patti Smith and Liz Pfair and others in between.
