For more than 40 years, Tillers International has been studying, perfecting, and sharing the practical skills that were once common on farms and across the American landscape. From the resourceful few on the frontier to skills tradespeople in specialized shops, the ability to problem solve, work with one's hands, and create a solution proved to be a foundational aspect in the creation of the country. This fundraiser will give guests the opportunity to learn how these skills help students that attend our school in Scotts, Michigan, as well as how the same skills are being shared in developing countries to help small-scale farmers provide for their communities. Historic skills are still alive and extraordinarily relevant. Please join us any time between 4 pm and 8 pm to mingle with other supporters of traditional practical skills. Hors d'oeuvres provided.
