We are needing to rehome our 1 1/2 year old basset hound sissy. Unfortunately we are never home! My daughter's are in multiple activities and I am actually paying a neighbor to take care of her in the evenings after she comes home from doggy day care during the day. She is a super sweet dog and is basically like having your own Eeyore. Wonderful with children, other pets and people. She does bark at first until she is comfortable with you. Please do your research on this breed. They are excellent for any living conditions apartments homes yard no yard energy level is extremely low she does get the umizoomies when she is first let out of her kennel or out of the fence in the yard and that is the extent of her energy level. She will come with her kennel a Kong dog bed a memory foam dog bed dry dog food and wet dog food multiple toys treats a collar a leash harness. She has been well took care of but unfortunately maybe not so much well loved. Again we are just absolutely never home I'm actually paying more to have her house between neighbors and doggie daycare then we see her. Please do your research on this breed they do like attention and she does not like to be lonely. She would do great with another dog after warming up to them she is a very skittish dog when it comes to other dogs. She is well socialized but again it's like having your own Eeyore it takes some coaching to reassure her she can play. We have had her for over a year her birthday is April 24th. There is a rehoming fee of $500 her kennel and dog beds alone cost that much. She is up to date on shots I do take her to tractor supply for her upcare she will also come with flea treatment an heartworm prevention. Again she really has been a wonderful dog but unfortunately it's costing me a fortune to have other people take care of her because we are just not home. She deserves to be with a loving family or a singular person who wants to devote all of their love to a special puppy.
