Are you a caring, compassionate, thoughtful person? Are you focused, yet flexible? Do you enjoy talking and listening? Are you physically fit? Do you enjoy outside activities? Would you like to make a real difference in supporting an active man with both moderate physical and cognitive/emotional impairments to be independent and successful? My adult son needs help and engagement throughout his day, in our home and in our community, currently one to two days per week available, somewhat flexible for the right person. We provide training, but you must be able to pass a background check as well as have a clean driving record. You must be a non smoker. You must have at least a high school diploma. If you are “handy” or enjoy tinkering, that is a plus. Intermittent, episodic evening and overnight shifts available as well.
