Sargon is looking for an experienced FIELD INSTALLER ornamental/light structural steel industry. Sargon Steel is a full-service fabrication and erection company focusing on commercial fencing, park structures, automatic gates and many other various design-build metal work located in Phoenix. Come join our exciting team as we are a young and growing steel fabrication shop making a name for ourselves in the Phoenix Metro area! Must be able to: - Show 2 years’ experience in field installation - Demonstrate motivation, energy, and intelligence in thinking - Must have clear understanding of installation practices pertaining to stair erection, balcony rail installation along with Ramadas, canopies, trellises, fences, and gates. - Must be certified welder. - Be Familiar with OSHA standards and PPE safety practices a must. - Able to operate machinery such as bobcat, reach fork, augers. - Experience loading trucks and strapping down-loads of steel for transit. - Experience unloading such as rigging, picking, strapping with safety always being first. - Bi-lingual a plus. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Maintaining and inspecting all equipment used on daily basis. - Must understand the complexity of installations for both ornamental and Structural steel - Candidate will manage all facets of installation per assigned jobs. - Manage entire project from beginning, keeping detailed daily logs until completion - Make sure all safety requirements are met while on site. - Attending site meeting with clients as required. - Maintaining schedules to keep job on time and on budget.
