Heritage Day - Sept. 24, 10am-4pm, Oak Ridge Town Park (6231 Lisa Drive, use Linville Road parking lot), Oak Ridge, NC Plans for this FREE event include: Revolutionary & Civil War re-enactors with interactive displays Live music and clogging demonstrations • Food • Games Exhibits of household goods, farm items, tobacco equipment, etc. Blacksmithing & outdoor cooking demos • Meet our military vets Displays – Fire Dept., Horse Show, Town committees, civic groups, etc. Antique Cannon firing at 11am, 1pm and 3pm • Tractor-pulled rides Old Fashioned pound cake contest (see oakridgenc.com for rules & entry forms) Kids’ activities • Characters in period dress • And more!
