Chrysalis serves people navigating barriers to the workforce by offering a job-readiness program, individualized supportive services, and paid transitional employment. We empower our clients on their pathway to stability, security, and fulfillment in their work and lives. The Class Facilitator will: Provide facilitation for clients signed up for the Chrysalis job preparation class Follow Chrysalis’ facilitator guide when facilitating class Empower clients on how to confidently speak and present their professional experiences and backgrounds throughout the job search Communicate with assigned Volunteer & Program Coordinator after shift(s), in the case of any client issues, changes in volunteer schedule, etc. Qualifications & Requirements: Highly motivated by Chrysalis’ mission and desire to improve social and economic fabric of our community Be at least 18+ years Submit volunteer application here: https://www.changelives.org/volunteer/ Attend a volunteer informational session Be prepared to work with individuals who have limited work experience Be willing to work respectfully with people of all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds Intermediate Computing and Applications (comfortability using Zoom and Google Drive) Complete online training modules Honor confidentiality of client records and sign volunteer handbook and agreement This is a virtual opportunity.
