Existing mathy/emo band needs another member!

Our band has recently, and sadly, had to say farewell to our talented guitarist. This could be a very fun, and insanely rewarding experience for the right person/people. Our band is (now) one guitar, bass and drums. We are really trying to restructure and open to tons of new ideas. We had vocals, then lost them a while ago, but the songs are definitely vocal worthy, and we want to bring it back. Here are some standards we'd hope for: You're a Pro musician - you take your musical skills and journey seriously. The difficulty from this music comes from keeping it tight, together, and memorizing the changes in the song, and less on the shredding. You have appropriate gear and confidence in what you're doing, or that you will get there. Confidence and attitude is everything. The ability to tap (if guitar) and understand complex rhythms is probably an important skill to have too. We all get there with good attitudes. Familiar with genre - We all like a crazy wide variety of music, but we choose to smash it all together into this. The bands collaborative ideas and feedback is truly what builds the songs. Here's some bands we enjoy. Maybe we sound like them, I don't know. It's hard. (Enemies, giraffes?giraffes!, Invalids, stage kids, delta sleep, DLBD, Yes, combo chimbita, Space Corolla, Piglet, American Football, Tera Melos, circa survive, protest hero, Dillinger, and so I watch you, swans, TWIABP, Don cab, monobody, feed me jack, Faraquet, crash of rhinos, black midi, mineral, Sunbather, U SCO) Ok, That's enough. Relatable - We do this to have fun, push ourselves, and make something worth sharing. It's a shared dream. We are all buds. We don't fight. We take our mental health and the band's health seriously. We are in our mid to late twenties. We are LGBTQ+. We are aware and inclusive allies to under-represented groups. We don't enjoy problematic situations. We want to empower ourselves and most importantly others through music. No BS. We are wholesome and spooky. That's our vibe. If any of this makes you go "grrrrr!!" It has given us true, cathartic release in so many moments. Oh, and $500 once. That was cool. We are really trying to continue playing as many shows as possible and keep that going.
