Square 1 Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to join a Power Team in town! This company is located in Reno and we are seeking individuals with experience in a warehouse setting to perform kitting, receiving, and inventory duties for an all-in-one power solutions company! The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be efficient, and meet company goals. This may include multitasking, taking initiative and lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is a plus. Material Handlers must pick and kit production orders, load and unload materials onto or from pallets (manual and with forklift), perform cycle counts, palletize, label and keep track of inventory, and coordinate with other team members. You must also feel comfortable utilizing RF scanners and reading documents with certain instructions and manuals. Being proficient with a computer, communicating efficiently, and the strong organizational skills will further contribute to your success in this role! Please keep in mind that this work environment exposes you to areas that require personal protective equipment. A background check and drug test (including THC) are required. All candidates must have reliable transportation and be committed to a full-time schedule. Work hours will vary between 6-7 AM start time to 2:30-4 PM end time on a Monday through Friday basis. The wage will vary between $16.75-$20.75/hr D.O.E. A formal interview will be conducted to determine your starting salary.
