The Bootstrap Music Co. is located in the SoDo area of Seattle. We currently have an open position. Duties will include custodial maintenance of the facilities. Fringe benefits include access to music rehearsal studios (You'll have a place for band practice for free). The pay is $17.50 per hour (plus some tips). This is for Saturdays from 1:00 - 8:00pm and Sundays from 2:00 - 8:00pm. Additional hours on other days will likely be available as other shifts need to be covered. I would prefer someone who is handy, and has tools, who I can give additional hours and projects to. For the aspiring producers & engineers, you will have the opportunity to branch out into other music-related work (live sound etc..), but your job, first and foremost will be janitorial and customer service. You will be charged with cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping etc.... Show that you can do a good job there, and more opportunities will be available. Access to the rehearsal studios comes with the position. So, someone who wants to pursue their music without the cost of rehearsal space will benefit most from this. Must know how to clean a toilet etc... Must be sober. Must follow directions; the first of which are as follows: Reply by email only.
