We are looking for a Garage Technician to join our team in Downtown Olympia. The ideal candidate would manage the day-to-day operations of our Fully Automated Parking Garage, along with being hands on and performing preventative maintenance and improving the functionality of the operating system while focusing on the highest level of customer service for our residents. If you have previous experience working with PLC programing, Industrial manufacturing, and Mechanical / Millwright engineering, this could be a great fit for you. This position partners with our onsite Maintenance Technicians as well as our IT Department. Basic Qualifications: o 1+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, technical or related environment. Duties and Responsibilities: o Be able to find the best repair solution in a timely manner related to PLC Programing and Mechanical Operations. o Maintenance, and installation of sensors, Motors, Solenoids, etc. o Makes Safety in the workplace a number one priority o Team player and highly self-motivated individual o Ability to lift 50lbs o Be able to troubleshoot and repair semi-complex mechanical machinery to include pumps, fans, meters, control valves, direct and indirect belt and chain driven system, pneumatic systems. o Intermediate ability to fabricate mechanical systems. o Ability to install bolts, perform welds, rivets and or other fasteners that the garage might need o Extensive knowledge in the principles and practical application of pneumatics, hydraulics, chain/belt drives, bushings/bearings/idler systems, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fasteners, seals, gaskets, mechanical fabrication, and rigging. o Attention to details o Perform all other duties as assigned
