JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Full Time Custodian Retirement Community Burien, WA 98168 Position: CUSTODIAN We are looking for an experienced, long-term, full-time custodian who will take the lead in providing exemplary service to keep buildings and common areas clean and orderly, ensuring residents and guests a safe and healthy environment. The lead custodian keeps inventory of all supplies and maintains safe storage of all products and equipment. The lead custodian must work independently, be detail oriented, and take the initiative to keep all areas of the property clean without direct supervision. What Will I Do Every Day? • Clean assigned community spaces, including lobbies, meeting rooms, multi-purpose rooms, hobby rooms, fitness center, restrooms, pool area, elevators, corridors, and more. • Safely move furniture, equipment, and supplies. • Maintain supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties. • Report maintenance repairs to management, including damages and missing items. • Perform other related duties as required. What Will I Need To Be Successful In This Role? • High school diploma or GED (preferred) • At least one year of custodial experience • Experience working in a senior environment (preferred) • Enjoys working with Seniors • Team player who takes pride in their work and embraces the value of their position as part of the team • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact and communicate with senior residents, vendors, and other team members. • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.   What Is The Compensation? • Full-time employment • Competitive wages • Health insurance • Retirement • Vacation, holiday, and sick pay References and drug test required Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20-23 per hour, based on experience and full-time hours worked Schedule: • 8-hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Saturday (flex days) Work Location: One location WHO WE ARE: We are a privately owned, independent retirement community for Seniors age 55+.
