We are looking for a drummer! About the band: Foot Ox is an experimental and somewhat psychedelic folk band from Tempe, Arizona, originally formed in 2007. The music and lyrics are inspired by dreams, deals with love, death, adventure, heartbreak and fear with indirect and abstract imagery. Unusual but subtle orchestration gives an impression of intimacy even playing in front of large crowds. The sound swings from driving, upbeat full band, complex and rhythmic, to moments of sparse, quiet, emotional vulnerability. Qualification Musts: - must be available for a fall west coast tour (and touring in general) - must live in the greater portland area (we currently practice in Milwaukie) - must know how to play drums HUGE bonus if you can play another instrument in addition to drums!
