No past experience required to learn the basics. Introduction and explanation of textile surface design. Short lecture. Plenty of handouts to take with you to further your learning. 2.5 hours of hands-on skill building practices. Including several demos. Once you have completed this class you will have a solid understanding of the creation of repeats by hand, use of scale, color variations. This entire program is created to help you build your professional surface design portfolio to start selling your artwork. This is a beginners class so we will touch on the basics. We will offer more in depth classes following the beginners series.
