Job Description Your typical day may include: o Placing and retrieving product from appropriately designated areas via forklift and other material handling equipment throughout facilities to ensure that production and customer needs are met. o May involve the receipt of incoming material/product, and may load and unload trucks. o Skilled in reading and implementing work instructions and/or shipping documents. o May measure, weigh, blend, mark, label, count, track, record, inspect, package, and palletize a wide variety of products or materials. o Checks forklift and other equipment periodically for proper operation and may perform routine maintenance and cleaning. o Inspects for quality, defects, and deviations from specifications. o Responsible for quality of work and appropriately resolve unusual operating conditions. o Routinely drives a fork truck. o May assemble, pack and/or package a wide variety of products or materials. o All other duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate • Typically requires: A high School Diploma or equivalent, read and understand English language work Instructions, computer experience, independent decision making, and effective self-management. • Minimum Education: Reading and understanding English language work instructions Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum Skills/Experience: Effective computer use. Basic Math skills. 6 months of fork truck experience. independent decision-making, and effective self-management. Preferred Skills/Experience: Above plus - 1-year forklift experience in a warehouse setting, strong Computer, and math skills Functional Requirements Routinely able to: • Manually lift and move product and materials up to 55 lbs. through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to reach forward, reach overhead, lift, carry, crouch, and bend • Power grip and wrist turn, including the use of hand tools and/or steering fork truck • Walk, sit, or stand for up to 12 hours with intermittent breaks • Push/pull up to 100 lbs. • See, inspect, handle and evaluate product quality • Read and understand written English language work instructions • Work in non-climate controlled environments, including hot and humid conditions • Climb ladders and stairs of varying heights • Wear task-based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by LSI o Protective Footwear o Hearing Protection o Protective Eyewear o Gloves o Additional PPE may as required by specific tasks Apply Now!
