Family-owned, Baltimore-based company is looking for an entry level shop helper with some experience working in a machine or mechanic shop. This is a great opportunity to learn a skilled trade and there is plenty of room for growth!! Full time position working Monday thru Friday 6am – 2:30pm with occasional overtime available. Job Duties include, but not limited to: • Cleaning machines and floors • Cutting skids and pallets • Willing to learn how to drive a forklift • Able to move machined parts and castings as directed • Willing to learn to maintenance machine shop equipment • Must be able to use basic hand tools (i.e. hammer, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.) The successful candidate will have the following experience/skills: • Must be able to work with little to no supervision. • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment. • Must be self-motivated and not afraid to get dirty. • Eager and quick learner. • Strong work ethic and positive attitude. • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
