My name is Kasey (KC) and I literally just packed up my life in Virginia to move here to Wisconsin. I was diagnosed with terminal glioma of the brain stem and there is a doctor here at UW Madison willing to do a biopsy to determine the best course of treatment. I am basically homeless at this point with family and friends scattered hours across the state. I will probably end up needing to live with full time assistance care (lost use of right side of body). If I stay in the Madison area, any resources, any help is appreciated. Even a better forum to seek help from. Right now, I am more worried about my mother. She is here with me from Upper Michigan and finding it very hard to find housing accommodations and transportation for herself while we wait for the biopsy. We are looking for temporary rooms, short stays, anything. She would sleep in this hospital room if they let her. Any info, help, recommendations are greatly appreciated!
