We are seeking a qualified maintenance worker at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Wilsonville. Essential Functions: · Ensures all equipment in guestrooms is in working order. · Ensures all equipment in outlets of the hotel and restaurant are inworking order. · Performs scheduled maintenance to manufacturers’ specifications. · Performs daily temperature readings and cleaning of pools. · Maintains appearance of exterior and interior of building. · Adhere to all work order policies and procedures. · Maintains energy management system and provides feedback on how to operate more efficiently. · Communicate parts and materials needs, job status and project status to appropriate supervisory personnel in a timely manner. · Maintains parts inventory for all hotel and restaurant equipment. · Maintains safety awareness throughout engineering and all departments. · Performs all preventative maintenance to manufacturers’ specifications. · Reports all potential safety hazards to a manager immediately. Qualifications: · Knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance i.e., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, etc. · Strong preventative maintenance background. · Refrigeration, HVAC certification preferred. · Ability to work with a minimum of supervision. · Ability to communicate effectively. · Ability to work as part of a team. · Ability to read and follow both verbal and written instructions. · Ability to work well under pressure. Working Conditions: Walking: 50% Standing: 25% Sitting: 5% Bending: 10% Lifting: 10% / up to 50 lbs.
