I'm sorry, I had no idea how STUPID things have gotten in California. I've heard of DUI checkpoints, to catch drunk drivers. Pretty much all states do that. However, I had no idea about two things California is doing, that no other state government is stupid enough to do: 1) SMOG checkpoints: Random checkpoints that will force you to have your car smog-checked on the spot, at any time. Not sure what the consequences are, if your car doesn't pass the test. Do they confiscate your vehicle, and have it towed away? 2) Smog checks for all trucks and RV's over 14,000 lb GVW every 6 months, which includes ALL vehicles in the state, regardless of what state they're registered in !! That's right: If you drive your RV from Tennessee into California, be prepared to have it smog-checked. This will no doubt curb the amount of tourists California gets in the future. NICE JOB, GAVIN !!! Remember kids: ALL of this insanity has to do with your government's quest to REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS. Your government wants to REDUCE the amount of CO2 in the air, because they say there's way too much and it's causing climate change. ** See the charts to find out how much your government is LYING to you about CO2. Six Hundred MILLION YEARS of HISTORY on CO2. --- But don't look at these charts; just keep listening to your Liberal government, when they say there's 'too much' CO2.
