You’re out there, living your life. In another reality we are sipping coffee on the back porch, listening to the birds chirping. Our vegetable patch is thriving. Our kids are coming home from college this weekend for some family time. We’ll pull out old board games and laugh until we cry. But right now we enjoy our coffee and the peacefulness of an early September morning. In yet another reality, we’ve just met and we’re texting fervently. I love every moment of getting to know you. Every word you share makes me want you more. You are my forever. But right now, in this reality, you are out there living your life and I am here, waiting for our paths to cross.
