Rassier Properties is looking for an experienced apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician for a total of 129 units comprised of 2 Apartment Properties in Central Austin. **Hourly Rate is based on experience** Job Requirements: - Painting Experience - HVAC Knowledge - Assist with completing with Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair, Pools and General Maintenance - Assist with completing service requests, make readies and apartment upgrades - Assist with various projects as assigned by Lead Maintenance Technician - Must be willing to be on call per schedule and alternate schedule - Must provide own tools and have reliable transportation Working Environment/Requirements: - The employee is required to reach, lift and carry. The working environment is typically in an outdoor setting, with an occasional need to leave the premises for business purposes. We offer a full-time position with competitive pay, medical insurance; vacation, sick time and paid holidays. Job Type: Full Time Pay: $20 - $22 per hour The apartment maintenance staff is responsible for completing all service requests at the direction of the maintenance supervisor & property manager. Primary Responsibilities: - Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease to new prospects - Painting full apartments and touch ups - Keep grounds clean and free of debris and trash - Provide Excellent customer service - Resolve electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, installations, service, and replacements in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards as needed by the apartment community. This includes servicing: o Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses o Light Fixtures o Installation and minor repairs of appliances such as stoves, washers, dryers and refrigerators o Toilets, sinks, vanities and disposals o Caulking o Minor carpentry repairs o Window screens and blinds o Interior and exterior doors o Extensive Painting and drywall repair o Removing bulk trash o Clearing drain lines and sewer lines - General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service - Ability to communicate effectively both in writin
