Found small brown and white dog.

A small brown and white dog entered my yard and didn't seem to know where it should go. I've put fliers on 50 houses in the neighborhood hoping to find her owner. So far no luck. I took her to the vet to see if she was chipped and she was not; at least they couldn't detect one. The dog looks like a chihuahua/pomeranian mix but don't hold me to that. I say that because she is quite small like a chihuahua with the big eyes, but she also has the pomeranian nose and curls up her fluffy tail like a pomeranian. She has long brown and white fur like a pomeranian although the hair on her back is shorter like a chihuahua. She is wearing an "unusual" collar that the owner can describe to be reunited or bring a picture of her which would be even better confirmation. My location is near the intersection of Montano/Edith but she may have come from farther away. Hard to say how long she has been lost and where she may have come from. It seems she had recently eaten because she didn't want food or water until several hours later. She was a bit dirty when we found her and have since given her a bath. She was found on September 8th at about 1:00pm. If this sounds like it might be your pet, please call. I really don't want to adopt a pet at this time and would like for her to go back to her owner. If I'm not able to find an owner anytime soon, I will try to place her with some other dog friendly home. I'll post pictures later as I'm already running late for work.
