DAVIDSON, NC —Two thefts, a simple assault and a DWI were reported in Davidson this past week, according to the most recent police blotter. Davidson Police made two arrests last week: Joseph Michael Savona, 29, was arrested Dec. 31 on Beaty Street, charged with an arrest warrant from Iredell County Kacey Leigh Houlihan, 19, was arrested Jan. 1 on Davidson Concord Road, charged with DWI Here are the crimes reported to DPD between Dec. 29, 2020 through Jan. 4, 2021: Dec. 29 — Larceny (felony), Conroy Avenue Dec. 29 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Jetton Street Dec. 31 — Simple assault, Bridlepath Trail Jan. 1 — DWI, Davidson-Concord Road DPD officers issued the following citations between Dec. 29, 2020 through Jan. 4, 2021: DWI — 1 Expired tag — 3 Expired inspection — 2 Failure to register trailer with DMV — 1 No operator's license — 2 Speeding — 5 Stop sign violation — 1 SEE ALSO: 60 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 Death Reported In Davidson This WeekCooper Mobilizes NC National Guard In Bid To Speed VaccinationsDavidson Police Investigate Report Of Attempted Child Abduction
