The Children’s Board Family Resource Center (CBFRC) in Plant City will be hosting a special information session dedicated to leaders in the area’s faith community. The CBFRC offers programs and services emphasizing family support, child development, health and safety, and learning success – all at no cost to residents of Hillsborough County. Examples of the bilingual activities and services that the CBFRC can offer to families or individuals in your congregation include, but are not limited to: • Family Service Coordination; • Mobile Medical Clinic (Birth-18 years old) - including well-child physicals, immunizations, vision screenings, hearing screenings, and developmental screenings; • Mobile Dental Clinic • CPR & First Aid Certification; • Car Seat Safety Class; • Tutoring assistance; • Fun and educational programs for all ages; and • Multiple play areas, including: Pop-Up Play (Glazer Children’s Museum exhibit) and a space dedicated to the development of infants. The CBFRC is funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County and administered by Lutheran Services Florida. Lutheran Services Florida serves to bring God’s healing, hope and help to people in need in the name of Jesus Christ.
