No experience or tools are required – just come ready for some hands-on fun that will leave everyone feeling creative as they form their own little tree from scratch. Bonsai and Brews is the perfect introduction to the art of bonsai! We’ll be working with tropical species, which are hardy enough that you can keep them indoors or outdoors. After a brief history of bonsai, we will go over basic care and maintenance techniques. Then you’ll learn how to pot, prune and style your new bonsai tree, so you can love it for many years to come! Hosted with Caledonia Brewing, located in the historic Dunedin Times Building on Main St in Dunedin. Caledonia features 15-20 house-brewed craft beers as well as local guest taps, cider, and wine. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a little about bonsai and get hands-on instruction from our experts, with plenty of delicious craft beer to enjoy! Space is limited – get your tickets early!
