Seven Swords Academy in Tacoma, WA is hosting the 2nd PNW HEMA Gatherings Beginner’s Tournament 2022 on November 12, 2022. This one-day long-sword tournament is a great opportunity for beginners to compete. Tournament Entry Fee will be USD $60.00 +taxes and fees, and will include entry to the event, tournament registration, and a tournament T-Shirt. Due to limited space, entry fee for spectators will be USD $20.00 +taxes and fees. Tournament T-Shirts can be pre-ordered for pickup at the event or can be purchased at the event for shipping to your residence. Patches, stickers, etc. may also be purchased. We will be hosting a social hour after the event at a yet to be determined location near Tacoma where competitors, coaches, friends and families can get together for some good times and memories. There will be 5-6 Pools each consisting of 6 competitors, using one ring. The top 2 competitors of each pool will advance to elimination rounds after pool scoring occurs. To encourage participation from multiple Pacific Northwest schools, we will not be stacking the roster with all Seven Swords Academy students, but will be opening registration to everyone at the same time.
