The YBI students have an opportunity to present their projects that they worked on during the Entrepreneurship 101 Program.
THE EVENT IS FREE TO ATTEND but if you would like to donate towards the cash prize for the winner click DONATE.
The Entrepreneurship Program is the second part of our educational program where our students are able to apply what they learned into a mock business activity. During the program, the students were challenged with operating deciding on a business they would open with their team. The class was divided into four groups. They were tasked with creating their business plan, researching their market and target audience, and learning to collaborate with their team.
During this project, the students learned the process of creating a business on paper through legal documents and certifications, understanding the regulations and policies businesses have to comply with, effective communication, assigning tasks and roles, accounting, HR policies and procedures, and presentation skills.
