Children’s Hospital BloodMobile Drive and 3v3 Basketball Tournament to support PATRICK MCLAUGHLIN WHEN: Saturday, October 15th WHERE: The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield TIME: Blood Drive 9am-3pm / Basketball Tourney 11am-2pm Refreshments…Family…Community!!!!! Patrick is a 16 year old Marshfield resident and member of the MHS Basketball Team who was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia in June 2022. Aplastic anemia is a condition that occurs when your body stops producing enough new blood cells. The condition leaves you fatigued and more prone to infections and uncontrolled bleeding. Treatment for aplastic anemia can include medications, blood transfusions or a stem cell transplant, also known as a bone marrow transplant. Please come support this brave young man and his family! Stop to donate blood or play some hoops in his honor to raise awareness for this rare disease and to help ALL that are undergoing treatment.
