Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added 238 new COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased to 534.3 cases per day.Oconee County added 18 cases and Clarke County added 44. In both counties, the seven-day rolling average increased.The District did not add any new deaths from the disease.Area hospitals reported the highest number of COVID-19 patients ever, with 42.8 percent of the patients with COVID-19.The seven-day rolling average of molecular test positivity increased in both Oconee and Clarke counties—to 30.1 and 20.3 percent respectively.
