Kick Start is a one session program that usually takes place the second Thursday of every month, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The nicotine/vaping cessation class is facilitated at First District Health Unit. Free nicotine replacement samples for adults and an opportunity to have carbon monoxide checked for smokers. There will be information regarding the NDQuits program and the My Life/My Quit support quitline. We will go through the proper way to use cessation medications using the Mayo Clinic guidelines. This is a non-judgemental class and is facilitated by an ex-smoker who has been thru this journey. Individuals are encouraged to bring a support person if they chose.
