Walters & Wolf Glass is looking for a Class A Driver! Walters & Wolf is a leading Specialty Construction Company who has been in business over 40 years. Walters & Wolf offers their clients a range of products from glass and glazing, custom stone products, curtainwall systems, composite panels rain screen systems, terra cotta products, GRFC precast panels, custom doors, frames, and hardware products, including installations. Our Walters & Wolf, Glass Company is currently seeking an individual to fill a Class A Driver position in Fremont, California. Successful candidates will possess the following responsibilities: Load, inspect and secure all loads on the trucks and trailers at shop. Deliver materials to specified job sites and assist crew with unloading. Organize tools and gang boxes to deliver them to new job sites. Collect and return to shop all materials, tools and gang boxes from completed jobsites. Operate Company vehicle safely and courteously, while following the rules of the road. Assist shop personnel with any tasks that need doing whenever deliveries are completed and no further deliveries are scheduled. Verify the daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and report any problems with the vehicle to the Dispatch Manager. Make note of any discrepancies and report them to the Dispatch Manager as soon as possible. Additional Requirements: Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). Clean DMV record. Comply with all DOT requirements. Forklift experience is required. Field Construction delivery experience helpful. Able to handle a very fast paced working environment. Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
