FOUND Pitty / Mix?

West Yarmouth MA

Description

I saw this American Bull Dog, or Pit mix (seems too big/tall & not stocky, to be a Pit) trotting up Rt 28 after midnight tonight/this AM & pulled into the Luke’s/Dollar Tree lot, where he immediately responded...so happy that someone had noticed him! What a LOVE BUG!!! Large, very strong dog, solid muscle, long nails. I’d est a good 80 lbs. Mostly white w/very dark grey rear & right hind area & grey speckled speckled ears. Long, mostly white tail that never stopped wagging. Could knock something over easily w/it! Waited patiently as I tied him to a tree in the lot by the pic nic tables & went to the Yarmouth PD to report him. No barking at all. And was real glad to see me return. I sat w/him as I waited for a patrol car to pick him up & take to their kennels for the night, & was assured he would get water, food & a toy to play with. Yarmouth Animal control would get him in the AM. I sat w/him, gave belly rubs & he was very content. Ate the crackers I had w/good manners. Never even took my fingers in his mouth. Took them gently from me w/o my fingers even going in. Was hungry, but not underweight. This unneutered boy is very well behaved, indeed! Had I not had my dog, he’d be w/me now & I’d be looking for his owner(s). Seems young. Wanted to play & just be w/me. Wanted to get in the car, no prob. My dog was there, however. She isn’t always dog friendly. Gave the officer no problems & jumped in the cruiser befor he even had the door fully opened! LOL Off they went... :/ I soooo hope his owners are found, or he finds a great home, if not claimed. What a gem! He’s with the Yarmouth Animal Control if he’s yours. Please get him & give him the love & attentive home he so deserves from you. Get him neutered & clip his nails! A new collar be nice too. He’s almost choking on that old, worn, belt styled one, that’s grown w/him, it seems. He deserves better. I’m sorry I can’t be the one to give him better. Cuz I would in a heartbeat if not for the dog I rescued 3 yrs ago. She is my priority when it comes to other dogs. As it should be. This big, super friendly guy, deserves the best!
