Our 2nd Annual Mouse Races Fundraiser will feature fun events where you can bet on mice and win money! We will have several heats of traditional mouse races, mouse roulette, and more to keep the fun going all evening long. This is a 21+ event. All attendees (aside from a small number of CAL Patriot Shooting Team volunteers) must be 21 to attend. Doors open at 6:30 PM and our first race begins at 7:00 PM In addition to the traditional mouse race events, we will have many raffle items available (getaways, gift certificates, etc), as well as the opportunity to get in on a 50/50 drawing. Mouse race bets, raffle tickets, and 50/50 drawing are not included in the entry fee. The entry fee is $25 for an individual or $200 for a reserved table of 8. Registration includes soft drinks and water. Bring your own snacks, alcohol, and other refreshments. Alcohol will not be available for purchase at the event. A little bit about our team The CAL Patriots Shooting team, focusing on shotgun sports, was CAL’s first official athletic team. 2022 was the Patriot’s 2nd year with 18 athletes including 8 girls and 10 boys of varying ages. The team competed locally, regionally, as well as in the sport’s biggest events, SCTP Nationals in Ohio and the AIM Grand American in Illinois! The 2022 season was a terrific success where the team and/or individual athletes from the team placed in every event we entered. Since the team’s inception, our student athletes have developed valuable life skills. The 2022 season was filled with examples of moral courage on the field as our athletes increased their patience, mental endurance, and strength. 100% of the net proceeds from this event will help support the young individuals on the CAL Patriots shooting team with equipment, travel, and other necessities.
