The Hottest Award Ceremony on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Returns for the 1st Time since March 2020 when Covid disrupted our lives!! Celebrating 17 Years of Honoring those in the Gaming, Service & Entertainment Industries! This year we will be Honoring Both 2020 & 2021 Best of the Best since we were not able to last year. In 2004, Coast Observer held a special MTV/Grammy Style Ceremony to Honor those in the Casino, Restaurant, Bar/Nightclub, Local Bands & DJ’s, Golf Courses, Spas & Salons that their readers voted as Best of the Best for that year. Since then, the Covey Awards have grown to be one of the Biggest Honors bestowed upon businesses and performers in these categories, so much so that Winners Proudly display their Covey Award Winner Logo on their advertising, billboards, websites and social media. Those with the top 3 most ballots cast for them are invited to a beautiful ceremony complete with red carpet arrival, presenters, performers, streaming live over the internet, as well as a pre-party and after party. Since 2020, WXXV has partnered with us to film and air the Covey Award Red Carpet Interviews & Ceremony in full later in the same week. This is an electrifying evening of celebration and camaraderie amongst these industries. A time for them to celebrate all the hard work of them and their staffs over the past year.
