Description
Free with investment of time and proof of good home. Rescues more than welcome to take him. (Scroll to bottom if issue w/“free”.) Rottweiler mix, male, 2, neutered, microchip, dna/allergy tested. Needs patience, love and care. If interested please text me some about your home/yard/family(including fur), etc. I have health issues and must find him a home. He is loved but keeping him isn’t an option and he suffers living here- deserves long walks every day, a yard to run, a home better for him. I can’t care for myself at this point, let alone him. Please have experience with working/guardian breeds because I didn’t realize how different they are and that is how we got here. No kids, no small dogs- at least at first until he had made progress with you. Maybe a mellow teen or cat and for sure friendly/sweet large dogs. He is an indoor dog but would love a farm type home and at very least a yard. If you want him for an emotional support animal, please know that would not make him a service dog or allow him rights to public places. ESA’s only have rights to be in your home. Also, know he himself needs an emotional support human. Slow transition to get to know you would be best. Prefers a mellow home. No apartments unless they are very quiet. He has stranger danger behavior and barks due to crappy neighbors who would tease him. I have no doubt he would move past this with some TLC, socialization and the change of environment. Please be able to afford two-24 lb bags of NATURAL BALANCE LIMITED INGREDIENT PUPPY Salmon & Brown Rice Recipe per month. He has a lot of allergies so that doesn’t have a lot of wiggle room. He is a very lean right now but he will fill out a lot more when he is able to put on muscle and as he gets older. To the people worried about him being “free”: I could charge money for him but that isn’t going to find him a great home. An investment of time is needed FOR HIS BENEFIT. No one trying to get free dogs for nefarious reasons is going to waste their time meeting with him on a regular basis to walk for an indefinite amount of time to win his trust and heart. People, your heart is in the right place but an investment of time has more value to my pup than $50 to satisfy a “small fee”.
